Following the passage of Hurricane Melissa—one of the most intense storms on record—the community of Jamaica is facing enormous, unprecedented challenges in the country. Despite the major impact on infrastructure and basic services, our people and their families are demonstrating immense strength and resilience.
Fundación Iberostar has mobilized without delay, taking immediate measures to support the Jamaican community: securing financial assistance, organizing transport and essential supplies, and offering counseling and emotional support. We are also working closely with local authorities and organizations to aid in the reconstruction.
In response to the number of messages of solidarity received, we are opening this collaborative initiative to support our employees and their communities as they recover and rebuild.
